RVSM Test Equipment & Air Data Test Set

For decades, Laversab Aviation has been a leading manufacturer of state-of-the-art RVSM test equipment. Also known as reduced vertical separation minimum, RVSM is the reduction, from 2,000 to 1,000 feet, of standard vertical space between aircraft operating between flight level 290 (29,000 feet) and flight level 410 (41,000 feet). Laversab’s RVSM test sets enable users to control a variety of air data parameters, including altitude, airspeed, Mach, and climb. This portable and accurate test equipment is known to deliver proven results to clients throughout the commercial, military and general aviation industries.

Laversab Aviation continually strives to achieve the highest possible standards of excellence in the development of its RVSM test set equipment. One of the company’s more notable achievements is the Model 6300, a versatile two-channel RVSM pitot static tester. Such testers help address the issue of overcrowding airspace by safely regulating air traffic. With RVSM implementation, not only can multiple airplanes operate within a defined area of airspace without crashing into one another, pilots can fly at safer altitudes. And most importantly, passengers can enjoy a safer flying experience with fewer overall delays.

The Model 6300 offers a wide range of additional benefits that make it one of the premier RVSM test sets in the industry. For more information, click the product link or keep on reading!

  • Model 6300L: Automated Pitot Static Tester

Last time buy for this product is June 30, 2021.
For new requirements, we recommend Model 6300 or Model 6200

The 6300L RVSM Automated Tester is designed to connect directly to an aircraft’s Pitot and Static system. Using the small and light-weight Remote unit a user can operate the tester from the cockpit and use it to test the entire pitot and static system of the aircraft, including altimeters, climb indicators, airspeed / Mach indicators, air data computers, and auto-pilots. The tester includes built-in vacuum and pressure pumps and emergency manual bleed-down valves. The operator simply connects power, and the pitot and static hoses, to make the unit operational. Also, it needs to be calibrated only once a year. The use of “Profiles” makes it possible for the operator to run through a test using only a single key on the Remote unit. Also, all commands can be performed through the RS232 interface.

Why Is The Model 6300 the Best RVSM Test Set?

Since 1982, Laversab Aviation has proudly produced high quality RVSM test sets and pitot static testers that ideally suit the needs of various sectors of the aviation industry. For instance, the helicopter and general aviation segments rely on the Model 6300 to perform leak and accuracy checks on altimeters, airspeed indicators and vertical speed indicators (VSIs). In addition, the ability of the Model 6300 to execute these checks on aircraft up to 690 knots and 60,000 feet makes it well suited for military applications.

The versatility of the Model 6300 can also be seen in its design features. This RVSM air data test set is equipped with a remote unit with a large keypad and display, an optional, wide operating temperature, and a removable eight-hour battery (optional). Also, the 6300 can not only be controlled by an iPad or other tablets, it is also approved for Boeing, Airbus, and most original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

In order to meet the demand for customizable, configurable RVSM test equipment, the Model 6300 is available in different variations with their own unique features. For instance, the 6300L model comes with features such as vacuum and pressure pumps, and emergency manual bleed-down valves.

There are two models specific to military applications, such as the 6300-M3 and the 6300-M4, the latter of which is primarily used for fighter and attack aircraft operations.

  • Model 6300-M3: Military Pitot Static Tester
