NEW: 2800 Series Computers

Sugar Land, TX, December 5, 2016 – The Laversab, Inc. Oilfield Division now offers three new 2800 Series models for use in Class 1, Div 2 and Zone 2 locations.

The 2800 Series of computers come in three sizes (10”, 15” and 19”) that include sunlight-readable displays, wireless Ethernet, and RS232/Serial and USB options. Like its predecessors, the new 2800 Series models come in sleek, compact enclosures sealed to IP-65 standards that are impervious to salt-fog and able to withstand vibration of 3G RMS.

Other optional features of the 2800 Series line include intrinsically safe keyboards and customizable DAQ systems compatibility.

Laversab tests the 2800 Series computers it produces using HALT and HASS test chambers that simulate the oil-patch environments in which the units are typically used. This allows Laversab to continually refine the computers so that they can be relied upon over the long term.
