Laversab at OTC 2015
Laversab — A Trusted Name for Rig-Floor Computers
For more than 30 years Laversab’s Oilfield Systems division has been focused on building the best computers, displays and smart-terminals for hazardous locations, in particular the “Rig-Floor.” The performance and reliability of our entire fleet of Oilfield Systems have allowed us to garner the loyalty of many happy customers including several major oilfield service companies. We invite you to visit Laversab at Booth #1073 at OTC 2015. Systems we have on display this year include:
Laversab’s popular 2800 Series Computers for Class 1 Div 2 and Zone 2 locations, which now come in various sizes with sunlight-readable displays ranging from 10 inches to 19 inches. These computers include many “customer driven” features like options for VESA mounting, back and bottom-mounted connectors, and a DC-operation version designed for trucks and work-over rigs. All models are available with wireless Ethernet, RS232/Serial and USB options and the latest specs include i7 CPU’s, remote networking and high capacity Solid State Drives for your critical data. We can customize these computers to accommodate your own DAQ systems for your specific application.
The brand new Model 2500 Class 1 Div 2 Rig-Floor Tablet, which will be introduced at OTC this year. Designed for operation in hazardous outdoor environments, it comes with a 9.7-inch sunlight-readable display and a scratch resistant touch-screen. Options include wireless LAN, integrated Bluetooth and internal battery.
The Model 3200 DDU (Driller’s Display Unit) is ATEX Zone 1/IECEx certified in addition to having GOST (Russia) and NEPSI (China) certifications. The 3200, with its 10.4-inch color display, is the ideal means of displaying critical MWD parameters from a “Safe Area” decoding system. The DDU is functional with nearly all MWD decoding systems while maintaining the hazardous area certifications. This allows our customers to seamlessly “drop-in” the DDU with their existing MWD systems and requires no additional training on their part.
The Model 4100 MWD Surface System is Class 1, Division 2 certified and has been a great success due to its ease of use, accurate mud-pulse decoding capability and wireless operation. The popular xxMWD software suite is included and works well with most new and existing positive pulse MWD systems.
The Model 2900 Class 1, Div 1 Explosion Proof PC offers many advantages over our competitors, including its compact size and the fact this is a non-purged system with C1D1 certification.
All Laversab products are continually tested in-house using state-of-the-art HALT/HASS and environmental chambers that are located at our facility in Sugar Land, Texas. The results of these ongoing tests enable product designs to be regularly improved for better long-term reliability and allow us to simulate the rugged oilpatch conditions where our customers deploy Laversab products.
Products can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Re-certification of systems can also be done as part of this customization when needed. Do not hesitate to talk to us about your specific needs.
In addition to providing you with a reliable, customized product, Laversab will back it up with our commitment to outstanding service and support. Short delivery times, quick turn-around of repairs, availability of loaner units, and cost-effective upgrades to older models, are just a few examples of our superb service. With Laversab offices located in the Houston area, Calgary, Germany and Taiwan, we are relatively close to your field locations and always ready to fulfill your needs.
With our dedication to service, reliability and innovation you will begin to experience what you have been missing all along…The Laversab Advantage!
