The F-16 and Proven Aircraft Technical Coordination Groups (TCGs) are part of the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC)-managed Technical Coordination Program (TCP). These groups play an important role in supporting the continued operation, maintenance, and sustainment of military aircraft and related defense systems used by partner nations worldwide.

Through the TCP, Technical Coordination Groups provide comprehensive follow-on sustainment services, including technical support, engineering assistance, and logistics coordination. These services cover aircraft, missiles, precision attack pods, and associated equipment, helping Partner Nations maintain operational readiness, address technical challenges, and support the long-term reliability of their defense assets.

The TCGs also facilitate collaboration and information sharing among participating Partner Nations, technical experts, and program representatives. By coordinating sustainment activities, sharing technical knowledge, and addressing common maintenance and engineering requirements, the program helps participating nations manage their equipment more effectively throughout its operational life cycle.
