Model 3200 Driller’s Display unit is now IECEx, GOST (Russia) and NEPSI (China) certified in addition to its ATEX Zone 1 certification.
The Model 3200 is an intrinsically safe system designed for use in Zone 1 locations. This small and light weight unit is specifically designed to display critical parameters for the driller. It features a 10.4 inch sunlight-readable display, less than 5 watts of power consumption and a single connection using a circular sealed connector. The 3200’s internal computing capability provides the user the flexibility to present this data to the driller in any graphical format desired.
In addition to being used with many existing MWD systems, current applications can display and interpret data via WITS, qBus or any proprietary serial interface. Environmentally, it operates from -20oC to +50oC, is impervious to salt-fog, is sealed to IP-65 standards and can withstand vibration of 3G RMS. The Model 3200 is the most compact Zone 1 certified Driller’s Display available and the IECEx, GOST and NEPSI certifications will benefit companies with operations offshore and on land both domestically and overseas.
